I have a friend in Delta who is a pilot he told me that the new pilots are clearly not the best as DEI is the defining factor these days. Is this true or just talk?
Thks.
Fantastic interview. Love this guy. More interviews with flying entrepreneurs please!
Bought your book today. Can't wait to read it whilst enjoying a NetJets trip on my Latitude.
I am sure you’ll enjoy it. Please write a review on Amazon and Goodreads for me.
I would love to interview you about how you use private jets. Email me: fab@orvilleaviation.com
I wouldn't wanna be ln a boeing these days
Finally ordered your book! Looking forward to reading it on our next NetJets Latitude flight.
Thank you for sharing the jet business industry.
I think I am buy my jet next winter, cause my bus is taking me to long to go downtown. Private plane is a must!
I like your ideas behind quantum growth. We are building our company for massive growth, but are still in clinical trials and exploring our market. That's where jet travel serves us - we can bring the whole team to meet people and present our company and our service.
I would not include Honda in this comparison. We use the Phenom 300 through a jet card. We also charter in the CJ series. They are all tiny, with the Phenom just a bit more comfortable. The decision comes down to range and availability of the charter fleet because the jet card is much more expensive by hour. We have a second jet card with a company that has larger jets in their fleet. This gives us access to mid-size through large body for more demanding missions.
This is a very well produced video. The professionalism of your videos has increased significantly over the years. Your presentation style has also improved. At several points in this video you sound like a motivational speaker with a compelling message.
I know your know this but the carbon junk is all about control
American Built < Swiss Craftsmanship. Nice looking interior, though!
By chance, I came back to this and re-listened to it. I agree that this guy is a crash looking to happen. His arrogance and lack of ability to take full responsibility for HIS ACCIDENT, not the controller, not the fuel, not the 7000 feet of runway, not the weather, not the lack of reversers, not the crane operator, not his lack of planning HIS ACCIDENT just shows that he is a danger to himself and others. His conclusion is to have 800lbs of fuel rather than do better planning and have more alternate airports to divert to. Poli is a know-it-all-all and is a poor interviewer with a really annoying demeanor...
Paul Craig is one of those people that make a difference.
Dear Fab, I like your content and thanks for your efforts! regarding ground assistance and overfly/landing permits in African countries, i suggest using professional flight support companies and local agents (no hassle no bustle & happy crew/pax) than doing it yourself by wasting your money on someone with no experience to assist you. in my opinion, advising operating crew to carry cash and give to speed up assistance is kind of encouraging to bribery and corruption which may ruin the reputation of operator the captain is working for in case of legal issue. and at the end, no good service will be provided for money wasted lack of using professional channels for assistance. as an African Guy being in aviation for 20 years now, i've assisted numerous flights all over African destinations with no issue at all. You're doing a great job, Keep it up!
I am from Ivory Coast. How do i get with you.
Fab@orvilleaviation.com on email. From there we’ll book a call
Fab, you are always on the edge of info that we need. Thank you so much.
There is a lot more I reveal offline. You should be part of my inner-circle.
Fab , your statics are way out ….. total private jets in SA ( ZS) is just over 200, private jets in Kenya ( 5Y) just over 10.. secondly do not encourage bribery and corruption by having a stash of dollars or euros … do what is required by the local agents , be patient, things always works out, finally , 15% of the global population may live in Africa , but their wealth accounts for under 1 % of the global wealth… Very few FBO available, even fewer MRO … all the governments are waiting for the Chinese to come and build airports ( like Luanda) or rebuild terminals ( like Zimbabwe, Dar, Nairobi, Entebbe etc ) so don’t hold your breath … Keep up the good work on your YT channel 👍🏼
@BizJetTV i have been following you for a while. I am from Ivory Coast. I wante to build a small airline. I have no back ground. But i need to start. I live in England however can see the potential. Very fluent in French and English. I understand the mind set on both side of the pound.
@@travellingsawyer here is my source: www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/business-aviation/2024-06-03/business-jet-market-growing-roots-africa
@@great7939 Bro, building airline is not an easy task. it requires lot of money to start. what i can suggest you is charter brokerage, which works well in Africa if you have good connection.
Great Video Fabrizio.
If you like to walk up more stairs and taller Aircraft I say Global
Boeing having many issues and many whistleblowrrs coming out too. Global 7500 and g700 has better range too
Sans doute intéressant, mais hyper bavard. Il ne fait que parler😢
Global 7500 currently ready on the market......furthermore Bombardier also offers upgrade program into Global 8000 with 8250nm range....quite a bargain
Gulfstream will always treat you better as a customer. I have been flying Gulfstream International for a long time and if you get stuck AOG in a Bombardier good luck you are on your own.. 😅
how’s life?. Like~best .
Of all of the principals that I have represented when purchasing aircraft, over multiple aircraft transactions, not once has a HNWI ever questioned about garbage or catering capacity! 🙄🤡
A HNWIs wouldn't know about this. However, most private jets fly around with just 3-4 pax. However, I have operated GLEX transatlantic with 10 pax and it is a bit of a logistical nightmare.
Good video Fab, liked the importance you gave on galley & crew for long distance flights. When you look at BBJ737 or ACJ320 family, speed is not a concern. Also no traditional jet travels at full speed. Also, larger cabins makes you more productive, can work properly on flight & yes walk around which helps on long flights. Most importantly, ease of spares, pilots, less training costs, and ample of cargo space. You can't bring some exquisite furniture in traditional biz jets. And one side benefit is people on ground barely recognize whether it's private jet or commercial airliner which is good from safety perspective. There are certain parts of the world where if business jets are spotted, you are under threat of being kidnapped for ransom, but can't put much on open forum. Maintaining low profile is best safety tool.
Yes, but.... no mention of the fuel consumption of the Boeing vs. the smaller jets? Yes, it's bigger, and can be made more comfortable for larger groups, but longer flights and higher fuel consumption costs money. Nevermind, the times you may need to use your one jet to fly 1-5 people, and not 12-15. Also, keeping in mind fuel availability. World instability could equal real world problems with amounts of fuel available at any given time. Smaller jets = less fuel needed. Maybe a video with this breakdown for us visual types, please?
Operating a B737 is cheaper than a Gulfstream G550. Spare parts, maintenance, pilot training, etc.
1st comment, 1 st view, hit like ❤️❤️
It was 2 female pilots 🤦🏼♂️
🙋😢
You should do a video about how young people can become a pilot.
Fab, I usually can get behind what you say but I must say, on this occasion, you're waaaay off base. The problem with Boeing is D.E.I., it's G.R.E.E.D. After the merger with McDonell Douglas, Boeing stopped focusing on engineering excellence and shifted focus to ROI and shareholder return. THAT'S what's gone wrong at Boeing. BTW, DEI doesn't mean they are taking unqualified people just to fill a quota. What it means is that of the qualified candidates seen they may hire a diversity candidate where, in the past, they would have hired the white guy. Additionally, why is it assumed that the white guy is qualified? Looking forward to hearing from you on this.
safety takes minutes. accidents take seconds.
Great advice, Thank you much Fabrizio 💎🪽
well spoken and only hope the professional community is listening to you. having spent a lot of tears managing a large corporate aviation division we had basic rule for hiring all pilots that thee have 5000 hrs minimum preferably most with the military airforce as we knew they had full training and able to operate in the most stressful of situations. we operated our fleet entirely for our own corporate use and never catered any of them,,we also insisted on never allowing a mission critical component to enter its last 25% of its life expectancy and we operated at full commercial standard and registered as such even though the costs were higher. SAFTEY SAFETY SAFETY was driven home as we were carrying individuals worth billions and also carrying a critical human capital of knowledge. It fails me to understand why wealthy individuals buy a used plane to fly personal and family on occasion when they can afford to buy the plane they can afford to pay professional staff to operate and manage it..professionals eat live and sleep their profession and businessmen an women do the same and can react instinctively to business decisions but not pilot decisions where at high speed and complex science th pilots know how to react and avoid disasters.. keep up your good work Fab.
Reach out to me on email, I would love to interview you. fab@orvilleaviation.com
Post Ukraine war, followed by Israel war, US keeps threatening countries and companies with sanctions as per their whims & fancies which makes many avoid American made jets.
Thanks for this video. However, as G650 is discontinued, would be nice if comparison was made with likes of 10X.
Having flown for 25 years corporate and charters I made the transition to airlines two years ago. So far it has been the best two years of my aviation career. Having got the taste of 121, I don't think I can ever go back to 91/135. I wish I would've done it years ago. Thank you for exposing the truth and the danger of flying 91/135.
If commercial flight is delayed or cancelled, it doesn't matter if you are in economy or first class. So this cost comparison actually doesn't go well because we pay more for flying private as top priority is given to flight on time & as per convenience. Taking a detour mid flight is added bonus.
Problem is people want to fly private with economy class mentality!
Hello Fabrizio! I own a 1/16th share of a latitude through NetJets. I am 100% aware that NetJets is the most expensive fractional option. I just want to share the fact that NetJets has NEVER let me down. When a Latitude was supposed to take us from Dal to ORD, the aircraft had engine issues (common with the P & W engines on this model), NetJets had a Challenger 350 close by. Our delay was only 30 minutes. For me, that's worth something. Your opinion?
I would love to have a chat with you. Ping me an email and let's put something in the diary: fab@orvilleaviation.com
Bit off topic but can you please elaborate about PW engine issue here?
If you are watching this video, you don’t have enough money to fly private.
...yet.
I respectably disagree. I'm always looking for the best information to maximize the experience of my NetJets share.
This is not entertainment channel with some model taking tour here & there. This channel is quite informative for those who fly private.
I want to fly my own private jet
Que dieux vous protège monsieur le président trump et votre famille nous en France nous subissons notre gouvernement aider nous svp jeanjacques de France
Excellent presentation.
The video makes we want to see you do one to compare all the "Flagships" like the G700 vs. Global 8000 vs. Falcon 10X. Maybe even throw in an ACJ and BBJ with similar costs.
Global 8000 is same tube with new packaging!! Those looking at BBJ or ACJ don't even consider large traditional private jets. ACJ220 has multiple issues, not worth buying. Better take ACJ320.
